Magick & Tarot Workshops at 12th House Yoga

At 12th House Yoga, we believe spiritual practice is meant to be shared. Our monthly Tarot and Magick workshops, hosted by Bren Bigelow and Mia Lester of Fortune of the Fool, offer a welcoming space to explore intuition, symbolism, ritual, and self-discovery alongside a community of fellow seekers. Whether you're picking up a tarot deck for the first time, deepening an established practice, or simply curious about the mystical arts, you'll find a supportive environment for learning, reflection, and connection.

These intimate workshops are held in our upstairs community room and are offered on a sliding-scale basis to support accessibility and community care. We welcome practitioners of all experience levels and backgrounds to gather, learn, and explore the unseen together. ✨

Denver Tarot Workshop

Welcome to the Denver Tarot Workshop hosted by Bren Bigelow & Mia Lester @FortuneOfTheFool!

Whether you're a seasoned reader or just beginning your tarot journey, you're invited to our magical monthly community gathering at 12th House Yoga every 3rd Sunday from 12-2pm.  Each participant will receive an educational handout to guide everyone through the monthly tarot theme discussion topics. Come connect, learn, and grow with a welcoming community of fellow tarot enthusiasts.

General Schedule:

12 - 12:15pm: Check-in & Introductions

12:15 - 1:15pm: Tarot lecture by organizers & community discussion

1:15 - 2pm: Mini tarot readings with community members to practice and learn your tarot skills

What to Bring: Please bring your own tarot or oracle deck if you have one. Feel free to bring a journal and something to write with if you'd like to take notes.

Ticket Pricing: The ticket prices are designed on a sliding scale ($22 - $77) to make this event accessible for those of different economic statuses. There are a limited number of tickets for each tier, so please purchase the highest ticket tier that you can comfortably afford (review the Accessibility, Community Care & Sliding Scale Pricing section to self-assess where you fall on the scale). Each ticket tier receives the same experience.

Accessibility, Community Care & Sliding Scale Pricing

We believe that opportunities for spiritual growth, learning, and community connection should be accessible to people across a range of financial circumstances. To support this intention, our Tarot and Magick workshops are offered on a Green Bottle sliding scale.

  • The Green Bottle model acknowledges that financial resources and opportunities are not distributed equally. Rather than charging a single fixed price, we invite participants to select a ticket tier that reflects their current financial reality. Those with greater financial privilege are encouraged to contribute at a higher level, helping make these workshops accessible to community members with fewer resources.

  • We encourage you to review the Green Bottle guide and reflect honestly on your current circumstances. Consider factors such as housing stability, access to transportation and healthcare, savings, expendable income, and overall financial stress. There is no application process or verification required. We trust our community to choose the tier that feels most aligned.

  • Yes. Every participant receives the same workshop content, materials, community experience, and opportunities for learning and connection, regardless of ticket tier.

  • We never want cost to be the sole barrier to participation. If the available ticket options are still financially out of reach, please contact Fortune of the Fool at FortuneOfTheFool@gmail.com. We are committed to finding ways to help community members participate whenever possible.

  • These workshops take place in the upstairs community room at 12th House Yoga. At this time, access requires climbing a flight of stairs, and there is currently no elevator available. If you have questions about accessibility or accommodation needs, please reach out before registering and we'll do our best to support you.
